CONFERENCE AWARD NOMINATION FORM(S)
At each National Goat Conference, the National Goat Consortium identifies a producer who has demonstrated his/her commitment to the goat industry through good production practices, leadership and more.  Nominations are accepted for individuals who exemplify these characteristics.  The ideal nomination application would include the farm's description, including the producer's philosophy, marketing strategies, and his/her future plans for their farm, which needs to be clearly stated since we are looking for role models for other farmers.  Further, the description should include how they plan to make the farm more profitable in the future. farming for the sake of agriculture does not help other farmers learn from their experiences.  Insights into the operation’s ability to adapt through innovation should also be included.
