The National Goat Consortium (NGC) is an 1890’s land-grant initiative that has membership consisting of 1890 administrators, faculty and staff, community-based organizations, farmers, and governmental agencies. NGC was created to address critical issues currently impacting the nation’s goat industry. In order to combat these issues, NGC implemented a variety of educational opportunities for farmers, agricultural professionals, producers, and students from and across the U.S. and the Caribbean. With this mission in mind, as a group, the NGC hosts periodic conferences providing a forum for those involved in the goat industry to participate in innovative and informative experiences revolving around this field.  Members of the NGC also host numerous events to promote the goat industry throughout the year.
